Vanna White Gets Pay Raise and Signs Extension with ‘Wheel of Fortune’

Vanna White is going for another spin on “Wheel of Fortune.”

The game show mainstay signed a two-year contract extension with the program, which will take her through the 2025-26 TV season, Variety reported Tuesday.

White, 66, will receive a “substantial pay increase” to stick around, sources told TMZ. She had not received a raise in 18 years, taking home $3 million per season for nearly two decades.

The new deal will ensure some continuity for “Wheel” after longtime co-host Pat Sajak departs following the current 2023-24 season. Sajak and White are currently completing corresponding contracts that end after this season.

Sajak, 76, announced his planned retirement in June, and days later Ryan Seacrest was reported as his replacement. White, however, didn’t “even want to think about” leaving, she told People magazine in December 2022.

What she did want, however, was a raise. Sajak’s reported salary was $15 million, and according to various reports, White wanted to match Sajak’s salary — or at least get halfway there. Seacrest’s salary was not reported after his hiring.

Last week, Seacrest spoke at a Fortune magazine event and said he hoped for “nothing more than to be able to walk out on that stage and host with [Vanna].”

Back in July, White also agreed to return as the co-host of “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune,” for which she’ll reportedly make $100,000 per episode.
