King Charles is ending the year with yet another royal PR disaster — and this one happened right in front of the cameras.
During the royal family’s traditional Christmas Day walk to church at Sandringham, the king shocked onlookers by bringing along Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie — the daughters of disgraced Prince Andrew. The move comes just days after new Jeffrey Epstein-related documents once again dredged up Andrew’s past and reminded the world why his reputation remains toxic.
Sources say the king wanted to signal unity and “Christian charity,” but the optics were disastrous. Instead of showing compassion, Charles appeared to double down on one of his worst royal missteps: trying to rehabilitate the York family’s image while the public is still furious about Andrew’s scandals.
Even worse, the sisters’ appearance felt calculated. Reports suggest the king “tested” public reaction by inviting them to his pre-Christmas lunch last week — and, when tabloids stayed quiet, he green-lit their full return to the royal spotlight.
Royal watchers will remember last year’s fiasco when Andrew and Sarah Ferguson walked to church, sparking national outrage. Now, Charles seems to be repeating that same mistake — this time using Beatrice and Eugenie as stand-ins for their father’s redemption.
Critics say the move exposes deep divisions inside the palace. Prince William has reportedly pushed to keep Andrew out of sight, fearing his involvement threatens the monarchy’s credibility. But Charles’ insistence on “forgiveness” has only reignited public anger.
With royal approval ratings hovering near record lows, many Britons are questioning why taxpayers continue to fund the lifestyles of the Yorks — especially after Beatrice was recently linked to luxury events in Saudi Arabia.
“The timing could not have been worse,” one royal commentator told The Daily Mail. “To bring Andrew’s daughters out days after Epstein documents dropped shows a shocking lack of awareness.”
While the British press painted the Sandringham walk as a “heartwarming family scene,” the public wasn’t fooled. Social media quickly lit up with criticism, calling the king “tone-deaf” and “out of touch.”
If Charles hoped to project unity, the result was the opposite — another reminder that the royal family still hasn’t figured out how to handle the fallout from its most radioactive member.
And with more revelations reportedly on the way about the Yorks’ financial dealings, this may be only the beginning of a very messy royal year ahead.

What the heck?! The girls haven’t done anything. Leave them alone in peace. They suffer enough knowing what a knob their father is!
The king of the A-holes!
The girls are innocent and did nothing wrong other than to be born to the wrong father. I don’t like King Charles and never did and it appears he’s using the girls, but it’s not their fault.
