It’s not every Sunday that churchgoers pull out their phones mid-mass — but that’s exactly what happened at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Las Vegas when parishioners say they witnessed what looked like a miraculous image appear on a piece of fabric near the altar.
The moment unfolded during a holiday mass honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe, celebrated annually on December 12. Witnesses say a face-like figure began to emerge in the folds of a decorative cloth as the service went on.
“At first, I didn’t see it,” said Father Edmund Nnadozie, who was leading the mass. “Then I looked again and said, ‘Oh, wait a minute — that’s the face of Our Lady.’”
Video captured by stunned parishioners quickly spread among the congregation, showing what many described as the serene likeness of the Virgin Mary. Some saw it as a sign tied to the feast day’s origins — the 1531 apparition of Mary to Saint Juan Diego in Mexico, where she was said to have left her image on his cloak.
“I believe it’s a miracle, a sign from heaven,” parishioner Ben Yzaguirre told Fox 5 Vegas. “It’s beautiful to see, and I’m glad I was able to be part of that.”
Father Nnadozie agreed that the timing felt far from random. “Maybe Our Lady was sending a message — ‘I’m still around,’” he said. “God chooses when a miracle happens, and a miracle can happen in Las Vegas.”
Whether divine or coincidental, the moment left the congregation buzzing — and for many, filled with comfort and hopeduring the Christmas season.
“Sometimes the world needs these reminders,” Yzaguirre added. “It wasn’t just for us — it’s for everyone.”

WOW! I have no words.
I hate to say it but that image looked like the devil with horns as the top of the head is rough and appears to have three ridges in it.
I believe in miracles and they happen everyday!
