Delivery Driver Detained in Nancy Guthrie Case: “I’m Innocent — I Don’t Even Know Who She Is!”

The man briefly detained in the nationwide search for missing Arizona grandmother Nancy Guthrie is firing back, insisting police grabbed the wrong guy and treated him like a criminal.

Speaking outside his Rio Rico home, delivery driver Carlos Palazeulos told reporters he was blindsided when authorities hauled him in for questioning. “They held me against my will,” he said. “They didn’t even read me my rights until two hours in.”

Palazeulos claimed officers followed him during his delivery route before finally confronting him. When asked if he knew who Nancy was, he replied, “No,” adding he had never even heard of her daughter, Today host Savannah Guthrie. “What the f— am I doing here? I didn’t do anything. I’m innocent.”

He says investigators searched the home he shares with his wife, kids, and in-laws before releasing him shortly after 1 a.m. “I hope they find the suspect, because I’m not it,” he said. “They better do their job and clear my name.”

The FBI has been overwhelmed with tips after releasing doorbell footage of a masked figure outside Nancy’s Tucson home. The 84-year-old mother of three vanished on January 31 after returning home from dinner with family. She was reported missing the next morning when she didn’t show up for a virtual church meeting.

Investigators later discovered blood drops on her front porch that were confirmed to be hers. The doorbell camera had also been disconnected around 1:45 a.m.

Former FBI special agent Tracy Walder says the suspect may have slipped up on camera. Despite the mask, the person’s walk — and even their exposed eyes — could be enough for investigators to build a physical profile. “I think the gait is interesting,” she said. “The FBI will look at everything from shoe labels to height and weight.”

As detectives continue combing through the rural property, Nancy’s children are pleading for answers while thousands of tips pour in. Palazeulos, meanwhile, just wants his life back.

  1. Thousands of unarmed, innocent protesters at the “Stop de Steel” march were imprisoned for over four years or murdered by criminals—Democrats Biden, Pelosi, Garland, and others. The peaceful marchers, like the driver Palazeulos, didn’t know why they were arrested.
Leftist Democrats are destroying America. Our only hope is Trump. Maybe he can save our country?

  2. The delivery driver! THAT explains why certain members of the Guthrie family were acting so squirrely!!
