Prince William and Kate Break Silence on Epstein Scandal and Prince Andrew

Prince William and Kate Middleton have broken their silence on the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, saying they are “deeply concerned” as fresh revelations continue to surface involving Prince Andrew.

In a brief statement delivered by a spokesperson on Monday while the couple were in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Prince and Princess of Wales addressed the controversy for the first time.

“I can confirm the Prince and Princess of Wales have been deeply concerned by the continuing revelations,” the spokesperson said. “Their thoughts remain focused on the victims.”

The comments mark the first public response from Prince William and Kate Middleton as newly released files have reignited scrutiny around Prince Andrew and his past relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew, who has consistently denied any wrongdoing, is now accused of sharing British trade documents with Epstein in 2010 while serving as the UK’s special representative for international trade and investment. The documents allegedly related to official trips to Vietnam and Singapore — information typically protected under strict confidentiality rules.

In one email from November 2010, Andrew allegedly vouched for Epstein during a state visit to the United Arab Emirates, writing that Epstein was “in big time” and suggesting an introduction to Sheikh Mohammed, the Crown Prince. The email reportedly referenced Abdullah bin Zayed, the UAE’s foreign affairs minister, whom Epstein claimed to have met just weeks earlier.

Epstein had already pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting prostitution, including from a minor. He was later arrested on federal sex trafficking charges in 2019 and was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell weeks later.

Images included in the newly released files have further fueled outrage, including one photograph that appears to show Andrew crouching over a woman whose face was obscured.

Andrew’s ties to Epstein have sparked increasing pressure on the royal family. His younger brother, Prince Edward, became the first senior royal to address the latest revelations publicly, telling CNN during the World Governments Summit in Dubai that it is “really important” not to forget the victims.

King Charles III has also been confronted over the scandal. During a recent visit to Essex, he was heckled by a member of the public who shouted, “Have you pressurized the police into investigating Andrew?” Charles did not respond.
