Epstein DID Introduce Melania to Trump — DOJ Files Drop Bombshell

A newly released FBI document has thrown a surprising wrench into Donald and Melania Trump’s long-told love-at-first-sight narrative — and it comes straight from someone who once worked inside Jeffrey Epstein’s inner circle.

According to a former model who spent a year as Epstein’s assistant, the disgraced financier was the one who introduced Donald Trump to Melania, a claim she told federal agents in July 2019 shortly after Epstein’s arrest. Her statement appears in an 11-page proffer agreement included in last week’s massive dump of three million Epstein files.

The claim directly contradicts Melania’s own memoir and years of reporting crediting modeling agent Paolo Zampolli with arranging their first meeting at a Manhattan party in 1998. It also clashes with Trump’s many retellings of the night he spotted the future first lady across a crowded room.

The mystery witness — whose name is redacted but who appears to have been treated as both a victim and a witness — described traveling with Epstein from 2005 to 2006 and offered disturbing details about her time working for him. Buried in the heavily blacked-out pages is the line that sparked headlines: “Epstein introduced Melania Trump to Donald Trump.”

The document also claims Zampolli, recently appointed by Trump as a special envoy, had been working with Epstein on a bid to buy Elite Models at the time.

The allegation resurfaced old friction around Melania’s social circle. Last year, she threatened to sue biographer Michael Wolff for $1 billion after he suggested she was deeply connected to Epstein’s world. Wolff responded by suing her instead, claiming she was trying to silence him.

The former first lady has also threatened a $1 billion suit against Hunter Biden for repeating Wolff’s claim — prompting Trump to publicly insist Epstein had “nothing to do” with introducing them. “They make up stories,” he told Fox News in 2025, again crediting a different, unnamed person.

Trump allies are now pointing to a Justice Department warning that the Epstein files may include unverified statements, misinformation, and even fabricated submissions from the public. “Some of the documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims,” the DOJ noted, stressing that false claims were common in tips sent to the FBI.

Still, the newly discovered line — nestled among graphic allegations from Epstein’s alleged victims — adds yet another twist to the never-ending saga linking Epstein’s orbit to some of the world’s most powerful figures.

The Trumps have long insisted their first meeting was pure chance. The former assistant’s account suggests their fairy-tale beginning may be more complicated than anyone knew.

  1. No doubt lies. Just another lie to try to discredit Trump and Melinda. Why do some people live such shallow lives they want to hurt people. What joy do they get out of it , Bullies and liars feel better about themselves if they can belittle others to make themselves seem better to themselves

  2. Who cares how they met or who introduced them. There’s no evidence that Trump is a pedophile like Epstein or Clinton. It’s nothing more that an attempt at distraction

  3. If you believe Clinton and Epstein are peds; why can’t your beloved Trump can’t be one? You folks point fingers at who you want to be up in this mess but you leave out others. STRANGE-don’t you think. My money is on the orange buffoon.
