Mom of 3 Dies After Suffering a Brain Aneurysm While Driving

A routine drive turned into an unimaginable nightmare — and an Arkansas family is now left shattered.

A devoted mom of three from Conway, Arkansas, is dead after suffering a sudden brain aneurysm behind the wheel, losing consciousness, and veering into oncoming traffic in a terrifying crash just days before the new year.

Tylena Wright died on Dec. 29 after the medical emergency struck without warning as she was driving. According to her family, she never regained consciousness.

Her 19-year-old son, Xavier Wright, said doctors quickly delivered devastating news.

“The neurologist told us there’s really nothing we can do,” Xavier recalled in a local interview. “There’s too much brain bleeding. The next day, we had to pull the plug.”

In an instant, three children lost the woman they say was the center of their world.

Tylena leaves behind Xavier, a 22-year-old daughter, and her youngest, 16-year-old Aariah. The siblings say they are still struggling to process how quickly everything changed.

“She wasn’t just our mom,” Xavier wrote in an emotional GoFundMe tribute. “She was our best friend. She was the heart of our family.”

Despite the crushing loss, the siblings are trying to keep life from completely falling apart — attending school, going to work, and clinging to a sense of normalcy that now feels fragile.

“We’re trying to keep our normal day-to-day schedule,” Xavier said. “But it’s hard.”

Aariah said staying in their family home feels essential as they grieve.

“I want to stay here as long as I can,” she said. “So you can still feel like she’s here with you.”

Xavier, who is currently in college, now faces the pressure of stepping into a role he never expected — helping care for his sisters while grieving his mother.

“I know I have to stay focused and keep doing what I was doing when she was here,” he said.

The siblings have turned to the community for help, launching a GoFundMe to cover basic living expenses and maintain stability after losing their mom’s support. So far, the fundraiser has raised more than $18,700 toward a $22,000 goal.

“Now that she’s gone, my sisters and I are facing a difficult road ahead,” Xavier wrote. “The financial burden has become overwhelming, and we’re reaching out for help during the hardest time of our lives.”

What began as an ordinary drive ended in tragedy — leaving three children mourning the sudden loss of the woman they say held their family together.
