Prince Harry is reportedly setting his sights on some serious star power to boost his charitable causes — and insiders say his ultimate celebrity target is none other than Jennifer Lopez.
Sources claim the duke is eager to enlist A-list names to support his philanthropic work, particularly after watching his brother, Prince William, successfully attract major celebrities to his own charitable initiatives.
“Harry is very competitive,” an insider said. “Seeing William reel in big names has really lit a fire under him. Harry feels he’s the one based in Hollywood, so he believes he should be landing the biggest stars.”
According to sources, Lopez has emerged as Harry’s most exciting prospect following a private dinner back in 2020. At the time, Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, dined in Miami with Lopez and her then-boyfriend, former MLB star Alex Rodriguez.
Insiders say Harry spent much of the evening chatting with Lopez and was clearly captivated. “Most men are totally taken with her,” one source previously claimed. “Harry is only human.”
That interaction reportedly left a lasting impression. Sources say Harry has talked up the encounter ever since and sees Lopez as the ultimate celebrity ally — both for the visibility she could bring and for his own personal thrill.
Behind the scenes, however, the situation may be more complicated. Insiders allege Meghan felt uneasy after the Miami dinner, with one source claiming she left the evening feeling jealous over Harry’s obvious fascination with Lopez.
While sources insist nothing inappropriate is going on, they also say Meghan may not be thrilled if Harry successfully convinces Lopez to get involved in one of his projects.
“If he can get her to make an appearance at an event for the Invictus Games, it would be phenomenal for the organization,” the insider said. “And let’s be honest — it would be a huge thrill for Harry, too.”
For now, sources claim Harry is keeping his outreach efforts quiet. “Until he actually gets her on board, he’s not going to rock the boat,” the insider added. “There’s no reason to stir things up unless it becomes real.”
