Prince Harry is begging King Charles to cross the Atlantic this spring — and sources say it might be the last shot at saving what’s left of their fractured royal family.
In a dramatic turn, Harry has reportedly issued a personal plea to his ailing father to come stay at his Montecito mansion, finally meet his grandchildren again — and end their four-year-long silence.
According to insiders, Harry is “desperately urging” the cancer-stricken monarch to carve out time during his upcoming U.S. trip in April — and not just for state dinners or political handshakes.
Instead, Harry wants his father to reconnect with Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, whom Charles hasn’t seen since Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
“He’s made it crystal clear — this is personal,” one source told RadarOnline. “Harry knows the clock is ticking for everyone involved, and he doesn’t want regrets.”
King Charles, 77, is scheduled to visit the United States alongside Queen Camilla for a historic meeting with President Donald Trump in Washington, D.C., as part of America’s 250th Independence celebration.
But behind the pomp and protocol, a royal family still at war simmers beneath the surface.
Since stepping down as working royals in 2020, Harry and Meghan have been locked in a bitter battle over security with the British government — one of many reasons they haven’t returned as a family. But now, Harry is hoping the King will come to them.
And while Harry clings to hope for peace with his father, the door to reconciliation with his brother appears slammed shut.
Prince William is also planning to travel stateside this summer to cheer on England in the soccer World Cup, but don’t expect any brotherly bonding in L.A. — their feud remains “ice cold,” insiders say.
Even Kate Middleton, once seen as the peacemaker between the royal siblings, has shifted her priorities entirely after her own cancer diagnosis.
“She’s grown more spiritual,” said one palace insider. “She’s done trying to fix things. Life’s too short — she’s focusing on her own healing, not Harry and Meghan’s drama.”
Harry’s explosive memoir Spare didn’t help. From accusing his brother of physical altercations to exposing private conversations with Kate and Charles, the book widened wounds that still haven’t healed.
Though Harry once described Kate as “the sister I never had,” their relationship soured after a now-infamous row over a “baby brain” comment that reportedly left Kate in tears — and royal relations in tatters.
With his father’s health now in the spotlight, Harry sees a narrow window for redemption — and he wants his children to know their grandfather before it’s too late.

All of these “Royal Differences” are slightly less interesting than watching paint dry. If I want tension, I’ve got 5 or 6 members of my own family I could (HAHAHA) try to re-connect with.
It is a shame that father and sons are so darn hard headed and since father really screwed up way back by two timing while married to Diana and the sons suffered a huge loss,time to bury the pass and start a fresh not just themselves but their children,it is up to the father to ensure the sons are true brothers again.
Sorry, as long as Harry is with Megan , I truly don’t trust him. I think they want MONEY.
