Royals Terrified After Stalker Breaches Palace Twice in 3 Days

The Royal Family is facing a chilling security scare after an alleged stalker reportedly snuck into Kensington Palace not once, but twice — just days apart.

RadarOnline.com has learned that Derek Egan, 39, was arrested for allegedly scaling the palace fence on December 21and then again on December 23 — sparking outrage after he was released on bail following the first break-in.

And yes, you read that right: he came back.

According to reports, Egan was nabbed by officers from the Met Police’s elite Royal and Specialist Protection Command after the second incident. He’s now charged with two counts of trespassing and being held in custody.

At the time, Prince William and Kate Middleton were reportedly not staying at their London residence, Apartment 1A — but the back-to-back breaches have still rattled nerves inside royal circles.

Security insiders are fuming.

Dai Davies, former head of royal protection for the Met Police, slammed the decision to grant bail in the first place.

“The fact he repeated the offense after being given bail gives serious cause for concern,” Davies said. “If he wasn’t already on a royal threat list, he certainly will be now.”

Kensington Palace isn’t just a tourist photo op — it’s home to 10 royal residents, including Princess Eugenie and her young family, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.

It’s unclear which royals were present during the intrusions, but a palace source admitted the security team is doing some serious soul-searching.

“People inside the system are questioning how this was allowed to happen again,” the insider said.

Egan reportedly lashed out at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, refusing to leave the prison van and then allegedly trying to damage the courtroom dock when he finally appeared. A judge denied him bail and rescheduled the hearing for January 6.

Due to the royal nature of the case, the charges also require approval from the Attorney General.

Security around royal residences has already been extremely tight — with no-fly zones, CCTV everywhere, and heavily restricted access. But after this, even more changes could be coming.
