Mystery Surrounds Death of ‘Pulp Fiction’ Actor

In a haunting twist straight out of a crime thriller, Pulp Fiction actor Peter Greene was found dead inside his Manhattan apartment after neighbors reported hearing loud music echoing for days — and now police say the cause of death is anything but clear.

Sources told TMZ that the 60-year-old actor’s body was discovered Friday after building management called police to perform a welfare check. When officers entered, they reportedly found Greene’s body with visible injuries, though investigators haven’t determined whether he was attacked, overdosed, or suffered a medical emergency.

The New York City Medical Examiner has yet to issue a ruling — leaving homicide, suicide, drugs, and natural causes all on the table.

Neighbors had grown increasingly alarmed after hearing music looping from Greene’s apartment for several days. “It just didn’t stop,” one reportedly said, prompting the manager to alert authorities.

Greene — remembered for his intense, magnetic performances in Pulp Fiction and The Mask — was still working up until his final days. His manager, Gregg Edwards, told the New York Post that Greene had been preparing to start filming Mascots, an indie thriller with Mickey Rourke, next month.

“Truly one of the great actors of our generation,” Edwards said. “His heart was as big as there was. I’m going to miss him.”

Police say the investigation remains wide open — and with the mystery deepening, fans and friends are demanding answers about what really happened inside that Manhattan apartment.
