Driver Plows into 7 Pedestrians at NYC Crosswalk (Photos)

A vehicle plowed through seven pedestrians at a Midtown Manhattan crosswalk late Sunday night, leaving at least one critically injured, according to police and law enforcement sources.

The driver behind the wheel of a Honda Accord hit the seven victims around 11:55 p.m. at West 36th Street and 6th Avenue as the suspect kept driving to the Midtown tunnel toward Queens, sources said.

Five pedestrians were rushed to Bellevue Hospital with at least one person in critical condition, sources said.

Another victim in stable condition was taken to a different hospital.

A 29-year-old female person of interest was later taken into custody after she was involved in a three-car crash on the Long Island Expressway at the Clearview Expressway in Queens, sources said.

  1. The 20 something’s are a real disappointment. Generation Z, consistently exhibits how not to behave, how not to drive, total absence of etiquette and courtesy. Self absorbed and convinced of their superior intellect while the experienced generations try not to laugh or kill one of them. Z, please understand that there is NO substitute for experience, and why are you always in a hurry when none of you have jobs?
