Disturbing footage obtained shows the moment an elderly woman in a wheelchair was run over and killed by a car while she was crossing the street in Brooklyn.
The 68-year-old woman was pushing her way across Webster Avenue around 1:30 p.m. Sunday when a 73-year-old woman driving a Lexus SUV southbound on McDonald Avenue struck her, according to police.
Video of the incident shows the handicapped victim in a green shirt slowly wheeling herself into the street at the edge of a crosswalk when a white car accelerates and hits the woman.
The car keeps driving, rolling over the victim before the driver finally stops in the middle of the intersection with the woman still beneath the car.

73 is too old to be driving, in most cases. Don’t bother watching video, shows nothing.
If the picture shows the right Lexus sitting there, why does she have a brush guard on the front of that vehicle?? it’s like she was intended to do something like that , you don’t need a brush guard on your $70,000 vehicle unless you live in the backcountry. Sad story,
Disgraceful a 68 year old preoccupied
Let’s not blame. Someone was not paying attention or had vision problems. It’s awful.
