Bruce Willis fans have expressed just how happy they are after they got to see a glimpse of the beloved actor smiling in a newly-shared family video – with some even “moved” by a sweet detail they spotted.
The Die Hard star’s family announced that Bruce, 68, had aphasia last year, with a fresh health update coming in just a couple of months ago – which revealed a more specific diagnosis to his fans.
His family released a statement in March which told of how Bruce’s condition had “progressed”, with a more specific diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD) announced.
But despite his diagnosis, Bruce seems to be living life to the fullest with his family and can be seen beaming and smiling in a new shared family video.
Bruce’s wife Emma Heming-Willis took to Instagram during the week to share a sweet video of her with her husband and their family, with it not clear when the videos were filmed.
Sitting on the Splash Mountain log flume ride at a Disney theme park resort, Bruce, his wife and their daughter looked like they were having the times of their lives as they enjoyed a fun-filled day.

“You bet this family will be back for more fun and laughs when you reopen as Tiana Bayou! Thanks for all the memories Splash Mountain,” Emma penned in the caption.
“Bruce is my favourite actor. Nice to see him smiling with his family,” penned one fan in the comments section.
Another then added: “Love seeing Bruce smile and with his family! Thank you for sharing.”
While a third said: “So lovely to see you all. And Bruce looks so well. Making memories is the best.”
Other fans commented on a sweet detail they noticed about Bruce, which was how he put his arm out in front of his daughter to protect her.
“Awe! He’s doing the dad safety belt,” wrote one fan, to which Emma replied: “Always,” complete with a red heart.
A second person then added: “I was so moved by that. Just beautiful.”
While a third penned: “That made me melt.”
The ride has now closed and will undergo a “re-theming” for next year, with it set to return in 2024 as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a new attraction based on the 2009 animated hit The Princess and the Frog.
Although not named Splash Mountain, it will still be a log flume ride, according to reports.
Bruce and Emma got married in 2009, with them welcoming two daughters together – Mabel Ray (born in 2012) and Evelyn Penn (born in 2014).
The actor has three elder daughters from his first marriage to actress Demi Moore.
