Entering the wrestling business in 1974, Poffo would join the World Wrestling Federation in 1985 under the name ‘Leaping’ Lanny Poffo.
Turning heel in 1989, Poffo would become ‘The Genius,’ and taunt fans and face wrestlers with poetry (each one penned by Poffo himself.)
After his WWF run, Poffo would join WCW in the mid-90s but would return to WWE to posthumously induct his brother ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage into the Hall of Fame in 2015.
