At Least 7 Killed During Farm Massacre

On Monday evening, officials announced that seven people were killed and one was seriously injured in a shooting that occurred at two different locations in Half Moon Bay, California.

The suspect, identified as 67-year-old Zhao Chunli of Half Moon Bay, was taken into custody by the San Mateo Sheriff’s Office without incident. A semi-automatic handgun was found in his vehicle.

The incident began when police received a call about a shooting with multiple victims at approximately 2:20 p.m. local time. Upon arriving at the Magic Mushroom Farm on San Mateo Road/Highway 92, officers found four individuals who had been killed by gunshot wounds.

A fifth person who had also been shot suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to Stanford University Medical Center, where they remained in critical condition as of Monday night.

At a second business located about a mile further south on Cabrillo Highway S./Highway 1, police discovered three more deceased victims. The suspect, believed to be a worker at one of the locations, is believed to have acted alone. The motive for the shootings remains unknown and the victims have not been publicly identified, but are believed to be workers at the two locations.

This shooting occurred after a mass shooting in Monterey Park, California over the weekend that left 11 people dead. State representative Josh Becker, who represents the area, expressed his support for the victims and their families and pledged to assist local officials in their response to the tragedy.

California Governor Gavin Newsom also expressed his condolences, noting that he had been pulled away from meeting with victims of a previous mass shooting to be briefed on this one, calling it “tragedy upon tragedy.”

This incident highlights the ongoing issue of gun violence in the United States, and the frequency with which mass shootings occur. It is a sobering reminder of the need for stricter gun control laws and measures to address the underlying issues that lead to such acts of violence.

The victims and their families, as well as the entire community, are in the thoughts of many as they try to come to terms with this senseless act of violence.

  1. Where did he get his gun, and was he allowed to possess it in CA? Criminals do NOT obey the Law by definition, so if a criminal has an illegal gun it is not related to gun control, but just the fact! Law abiding gun owners are NOT the issue, only the criminals, felons, gang bangers, thugs, punks, terrorists, BLM, Antifa, Illegal Aliens and other left wing criminal/political groups are the problem, and gun control never works on them! Support the NRA as they have always supported safe gun ownership and obeying the law!

    1. Democrats always try to blame ‘guns’ for what their beloved ADDICTIONS cause! This is ADDICTIONS VIOLENCE !!!
This violence happens no matter what the ‘tool’ that junkies use such as planes, clubs, knives, axes, cars, trucks, etc…
And this was just another part of Democrats’ beloved junkies
CRIME WAVE of 75 MURDERS DAILY in the USA…

  2. Would you really expect anything less from the state of CA? It’s an utter cesspool no matter where you go and there is no one to blame but these democrats running that state. They decided to go with their woke supporters so this is the result.

  3. Politicians never assume responsibility for the decisions they make. Never!
So good luck with trying to solve this problem!

  4. Arm every sane person for one year and see the difference, people kill with whatever they can use!!! And if you look at who does this it’s criminals, abused people, tortured children and people through bullying. We need to learn that on a whole our mental status is at the heart of all of this.
