Vanna White’s latest Wheel of Fortune look has online fans split in half—and that’s not the only thing.
The longtime game show hostess stepped out for the Wednesday, Jan. 18 episode in a two-toned asymmetrical gown that appears to be made of two mismatched halves. With one portion of her body covered in a flowy hot pink gown, and another clad in tight black leggings, viewers are left not even knowing what to think about the unique ensemble.
“wtf is vanna white wearing tonight?” wondered one user on Twitter, while another joked that White’s stylist “needs a day off.”

“It’s a horrible outfit,” another person plainly stated.
“What the heck is Vanna White wearing today? Her outfit lookin unfinished,” tweeted someone else.
One user compared the unusual look to a “Marvel superhero outfit,” while another seemingly agreed, writing, “Vanna White’s gone SCI-FI tonight.”
“Today Vanna White’s outfit did what no outfit should do unless it’s a costume party. So many misses lately #WheelOfFortune,” another person tweeted.
But plenty of fans came to White’s defense over the outfit choice, including one user who wrote, “What’s the big deal, she looks great in this dress. Give her a break. Keep on keepin on girl!!”
“Wait I think this is so funky and cool! Love it!” someone else added.

Having been on the show for over 40 years on Wheel of Fortune, White has worn over 7,000 outfits during her tenure on the show— so some of her looks are bound to fall flat.
The 65-year-old TV personality has previously admitted that even though she doesn’t love everything she wears on stage, she usually tries to keep it simple to make the masses happy.
“I don’t love every outfit I wear, because I feel like there’s so many millions of people that are watching and have different tastes and I’m trying to please everybody,” she told reporters last month. But, just because she doesn’t “love every outfit,” it doesn’t mean that the audience at home doesn’t like it. “Someone else might love it, so I try to be versatile, I always say.”
