Michael Bublé was Fired from ‘The X-Files’ for a Hilarious Reason

Michael Bublé has become synonymous with Christmas, but did you know that he used to be on The X-Files?

The singer is now a huge star, presumably bringing in bucketloads this time of year with his festive covers, but back in the ’90s he was an extra on the sci-fi show – till he got fired.

See him in the show here:

The Canadian appeared on season three of the series, but he didn’t stick around for long because of his hunger for hot dogs.

“I swear to God, I was starving and I grabbed a hot dog off the craft services table,” he told TV Line.

The 47-year-old added that he was fired on the spot for eating the grub that was designated for the main cast.

“And this woman said I would never work again in Hollywood,” he continued. “I would be blacklisted and I would never, ever work in the business!”

It’s been a big year for Micky Boobs, who welcomed his fourth child with his wife Luisana Lopilato in August.

The jazz singer and Argentinian actor shared identical posts on Instagram holding their baby daughter’s foot.

“From love comes life, light and her… our baby Cielo Yoli Rose Buble,” they announced.

“You finally arrived to our lives with your 3.8 kg!!! Thanks God for this infinite blessing, we love you!! Noah, Elias, Vida and your mom and dad.”

The couple revealed their pregnancy in February, captioning pictures of their family in a snowy ski resort: “Ooops! We did it again.”

Lopilato showed off her bump in a music video for Bublé’s song ‘I’ll Never Not Love You’, in which they recreated famous romantic movie scenes together.

The pair are also parents to children Noah, Vida and Elias.

Bublé took a two-year hiatus from music following his eldest son Noah’s diagnosis with cancer, aged three, in November 2016.

After the youngster was given the all-clear in 2017, Bublé wrote a song – ‘Forever Now’ – about his children.

The crooner previously admitted thinking he would not make another album after he and Lopilato announced their son was ill.

But next year he will be touring the UK for the first time in more than four years, two decades on from the release of his debut album.

The ‘Higher Tour’ will begin at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday 26 March 2023.

The Grammy-winner will then visit Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Newcastle and Nottingham, before closing the tour at Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena.
