Jim Cantore might have to reconsider his career choice after Hurricane Ian.
On Wednesday, The Weather Channel reporter saw plenty of close calls and nearly got hurt while reporting on the storm.
He nearly got struck by lightning before Hurricane Ian’s landfall.

Cantore nearly got blown away later on in the day.
Eventually, Cantore got hit by a flying tree branch during 100 MPH winds during the storm.
Here’s another look of Cantore getting hit by the tree branch.
Conditions got so bad that The Weather Channel’s in-studio host pleaded with Cantore to get off the street.
