Woman Kills Business Partner – Leaves ‘Wrapped Up’ Body in Bedroom

A 48-year-old pizza parlor owner was recently charged after allegedly shooting and killing her longtime boyfriend and business partner.

According to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, an investigation was launched after the victim’s son told authorities he had not heard from his father, 65-year-old Giovanni Gallina, since March 16. Anna Maria Tolomello, the victim’s girlfriend and business partner, reportedly told authorities Gallina was out of town.

According to the District Attorney’s Office, on Tuesday, March 29, officers from the Hilltown Township Police Department executed a search warrant at Tolomello and Gallina’s home. Unprompted, Tolomello allegedly told police she shot Gallina in self-defense and that his body was “wrapped up” in a bedroom.

According to court documents obtained by WTXF-TV, Tolomello also commissioned someone to dig a hole in her driveway and expressed that she would fill the hole up herself with a shovel.

Upon further search, police found Gallina wrapped in a blue tarp in the bedroom consistent with Tolomello’s description. According to the District Attorney’s Office, Tolomello later told authorities she shot Gallina in the head on March 16.

According to the District Attorney’s Office, on March 30, Tolomello was arraigned. She was reportedly charged with criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence, and possession of an instrument of a crime. She was arrested without bail and is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on April 19, the District Attorney’s Office says.

The victim and Tolomello reportedly owned Pina’s Pizza in New Britain.
